Abstract

Problems of reproductive failure and perinatal death until now has not been resolved completely, so the problem of reproductive failure in cattle had a very important role. Studies of reproductive hormones during the past decade have been increased according to the development of science and technology. The reproductive system as a whole depended on hormones. The low conception rate were according to the ovum fertilization failure due to disturbances in the transport of sperm through the female animal genitalia. In previous studies have examined the potential of mirestrol which isolated from plants sub-cutaneously, in fact, estradiol 17P still more potent than mirestrol in stimulating uterine weight gain in mice. Estradiol Benzoate preparate was an estrogen synthetic that can be used to increase the peristaltic of the fallopian tubes which would accelerate the meeting between ovum and spermatozoa. Besides, estrogen also can increased the production and released of LH from the anterior pituitary, causing ovulation. It was concluded that administration of estradiol benzoate in adult female animals soon after the marriage, within the limits of a particular dose may improved the fertility of these animals so that the possibility in fertilization process increased. When estradiol benzoate given after a period of fertilization with repeated doses and dose recurrence interval was too short, it can kill the embryo in the uterus by interfering with its linkage to the uterine wall, thus inhibiting parent's weight gain.
