Abstract

The aim of this study was to know the use of corn gluten meal as a substitution of concentrate as an effort to reduce the feed cost and its effect on feed consumption, egg production and feed conversion on Mojosari Ducks (Anas platythrynchos). This experiment used 25 Mojosari ducks aged 24 weeks and randomly divided into five treatment with five repetition each. The treatment was substituting concentrate using corn gluten meal with dosage 0%, 7.5%, 12.5%, 17.5% and 25%. The data analyzed using Duncan Multiple Range Test and there were significant difference (p< 0.05) on feed consumption, egg production and feed conversion. The result showed that substitution of concentrate using corn gluten meal with dosage of 12.5% still giving good effect to feed consumption, egg production and feed conversion on Mojosari Ducks (Anas platythrynchos).
