Abstract
the purpose of this study was to determined description of Service Per Conception, Conception Rate and Calving Rate of beef cattle from artificial insemination results in Kecamatan Air Joman and Kecamatan Buntu Pane in 2017. This research used descriptive methods obtained from primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from interviews with the farmers, and field officers also questionaire. Secondary data were obtained from Isikhnas data from the Dinas Peternakan Kabupaten Asahan. The results of this study shows that the value of reproduction efficiency at Kecamatan Air Joman is S/C=1,19, CR=82,33% and CvR=99,66%. The value of reproduction efficiency at Kecamatan Buntu Pane is S/C=1,38, CR=70,33% dan CvR=99,33%. In conclusion, the beef cattle at Kecamatan Air Joman and Kecamatan Buntu Pane Kabupaten Asahan shows a good value of efficiency reproduction.
