Abstract

From the previous chapter, the writer concludes several points. First is the writer can learn about techniques in interpreting. The use of this technique is useful for writers to shorten the time and prepare the language speech that will be used in interpreting the conversation. By understanding this technique the writer knows how to solve and handle the problems encountered when interpreting. For the second point, the writer learns about the role of an interpreter. Interpreting is not just about translating words orally but also making people understand what has happened and translating it from the source language to the target language.With the theory of the role of an interpreter, the writer can know what to avoid or what to do as an interpreter. For example, help the foreign students to provide additional information or advice and learn the background and culture of their home country.
