Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kehilangan ruang adalah keadaan dimana hilangnya ruang gigi permanen untuk erupsi akibat dari mesial tipping dan drifting gigi disisi mesial maupun distal gigi yang hilang. Kehilangan ruang dapat dikembalikan dengan menggunakan peranti simple space regainer: Tujuan: Untuk melaporkan pembuatan simple space regainer pada kasus kehilangan ruang. Kasus: Laboratorium gigi menerima model kerja pasien berumur 11 tahun dengan kehilangan ruang pada gigi 25 dan diminta untuk membuat peranti simple space regainer dengan komponen peranti berupa molar band dan lup yang digabungkan dengan pegas berkoil yang dilsoldirkan pada molar band. Kesimpulan: Tahap pembuatan simple space regainer pada kasus kehilangan ruang meliputi: penyesuaian ukuran molar band dengan gigi 26, pembuatan lup dan pegas berkoil, penyoldiran lup dan pegas berkoil pada molar band, dan diakhiri dengan finishing dan polishing.
