Abstract

From the discussion in the previous chapter, the writer got some conclusions about the interpreting methods, problems, and strategies during the internship as public relations staff at Taman Pintar Yogyakarta. First was about the interpreting methods mostly used by public relations staff. There was one interpreting method used by public relations, which was consecutive interpreting. The public relations staff only used consecutive interpreting because of the situation that is often faced by public relations staff while handling foreign visitors is face to face. Usually, the meetings conducted with foreign visitors have sufficient time. Therefore, interpreting activities were not carried out in a hurry or directly.
