Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to study the commercial feed substitution with the bulu entok fish meal (Thryssa setirostris) to increase weight gain, feed consumption, and decrease the feed conversion (Coturnix coturnix japonica). This study used 40 quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica). Quails were randomized into four treatments with five replications, and each repetition consisted of two male quails. The P0 commercial feed 100%, with substitution bulu entok fish meal (Thryssa setirostris) P1 2%, P2 4%, and P3 6%. The results showed that there is no significant difference (p> 0.05) with weight gain, feed consumption and feed conversion ratio. This result concludes that the bulu entok fish meal (Thryssa setirostris) in commercial feed for feed up to 6% cannot increase the weight gain, feed consumption and cannot decrease the value of feed conversion.
