Abstract
This research is a survey research that aims to determine the morphometri and ultrastructure study of metazoan parasite on red snapper (Lutjanus campechanus) in esat java waters Sample of this research is taken a minimum of 30 red snapper at TPI Brondong Lamongan. The metazoan identification performed by SEM (Scanning Electrone Microscope). The result showed metazoans found in red snapper are of Contracaecum sp. with a prevalence of 41%. third larvae stage Contracaecum sp. reddish brown with a body length of 10 mm and width of 0.17 mm. Esophageal length, and ventricular 0.5 mm and 0.56 mm whereas in the posterior part there is a tail with a length of 0.1 mm from the anus. Research related to observations of metazoan morphometry needs to be done further to be able to identify the diversity of metazoan that is spread throughout the territorial waters of East Java.
