Babylonia spirata, locally named Tiger Snail or Keong Macan is one species gastropods which is consumed by Javanese coastal community. Tributyltin (TBT) polluted can be studied not only through imposex analysis on tiger snail (Babylonia spirata) but also through morphology data analysis. This research was conducted during September 2017. One hundred and twenty and 261 individual samples of B. spirata were collected from Port of Tanjung Mas Semarang and Delta Wulan Waters, Demak Waters, Central of Java Province. The results of present work revealed that the concentration of tributyltin analysis in seawater at Port Tanjung Mas Semarang and Delta Wulan Waters up to <0.005 µg/l and the amount of tributyltin in sediment and biota B. spirata up to <0.005 µg/g. Analysis on male sexual organs characteristics in female of the B. spirata indicated the extensive imposex phenomenom in study areas with frequency of imposex in population of the tiger snail in the Port of Tanjung Mas Semarang up to 39.47 that the value of Relative Penis Size Index (RPSI) 19.48. Additionally, the frequency of imposex in Delta Wulan Waters can reach 40.27 and the value of RPSI is 21.81. Not only in the Port of Tanjung Mas, Semarang but also in the Delta Wulan Waters have high risk at devastating population of B. spirata which is caused by imposex evidence. © 2020, Agri. Bio.
