Abstract
Avian influenza is an infectious disease caused by avian influenza virus type A. This disease can spread between humans when a virus mutation occurs. This thesis aims to analyze the stability of the equilibrium point in the mathematical model of the spread of avian influenza in poultry and humans has been modified to become a saturated incidence rate. Apply optimal control in the form of humans treatment in humans is also carried out in a mathematical model spread of avian influenza in poultry and humans. From the results of the analysis of mathematical model spread of avian influenza in poultry and humans there are two equilibrium, namely the non-endemic equilibrium and endemic equilibrium.
