Abstract

BUMN merupakan badan usaha milik negara yang diperbolehkan untuk melakukan monopoli yaitu pemusatan kegiatan jual beli yang dilakukan oleh satu perusahaan saja yang dituliskan di dalam pasal 51 undang-undang no 5 tahun 1999 tentang larangan praktek monopoli dan persaingan usaha tidak sehat. Apabila dengan masuknya Asean Economic Community (AEC), maka akan banyaknya perusahaan asing yang masuk ke Indonesia membuat posisi BUMN menjadi terancam dan juga membuat Indonesia melakukan persiapan untuk meajelang AEC mendatang.
