Abstract
This studied aims to : knowing the feasibility of swamp buffalo farm in the sub district Muara Muntai of Kutai Kartanegara Regency East Kalimantan. The survey method by taking two samples of farmers group in the sub district Muara Muntai ofKutai Kartanegara Regency. Further capital calculation and analyzing the cost, revenue, profit and loss, benefit cost ratio, break even point and payback period. The results showed that livestock industry of swamp buffalo net provited in 2015 at first farmers group was Rp792.956.900 and the second farmers group was Rp 619.718.000. Its showed that the first farmers group have more advantages then the second farmers group. Moreover of the fmancial analysis showed in the first farmers group B/C ratio was 9~32 ; BEP production was six buffaloes ; BEP price was Rp 163.826 for each buffalo and PP in a period was 8,7 months, second farmers group B/C ratio was 4,75 ; BEP production was nine buffaloes; BEP price was Rp 400.867 for each buffalo and PP in a period was 4,2 months.
