Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the spesific and non spesific standard parameters of 70% ethanol extract of sunflower leaves (Helianthus annuus L.) from Surabaya, Kebumen, and Bandung. The result of the non specific parameters of 70% ethanol extract of sunflower leaves showed that, the yield of extract from Surabaya was 13,8 %, from Kebumen was 12,2 % and from Bandung was 11,2 % . Determination of water content from Surabaya was 10,33% ±0,58, from Kebumen was 11,33% ±0,58 and from Bandung was 12,66 %±1,15. Determination of total ash content from Surabaya was 7,57%±0,10, from Kebumen was 5,70%±0,04 and from Bandung was 8,83% ±0,14. Determination of acid insoluble ash content from Surabaya was 0,65%±0,14, from Kebumen was 0,75%±0,11 and from Bandung was 5,17%±0,11. The specific parameter of 70% ethanol extract of sunflower leaves showed, the β-Sitosterol content from Surabaya was 0,98%±0,18 , from Kebumen was 0,97%±0,02, and from Bandung was 1,02%±0,12.
