Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of academic self-efficacy mediation on the relationship of financial accounting training and student performance. The sample used is an active S1 Accounting students at Airlangga University. This study is a quantitative research using primary data in the form of a questionnaires. Data collection technique used sample random sampling with the method used was the path analysis test and Sobel test. In processing the research data, researchers used the SPSS 25 software. The test results showed that students who had attended financial accounting training tended to obtain a higher academic performance. Then, the academic self-efficacy of students who have attended financial accounting training becomes the thing that supports them to obtain a higher academic performance. The limitation of this study is in the research variable, the researcher assume all types of accounting training are at the same level, so the student performace scores do not reflect the type of financial accounting training that is followed.
