Abstract

Immunization is an effort to increase immunity to avoid diseases, especially PD3I or Diseases That Can Be Prevented by Immunization. Immunization is influenced by several factors, both from the child's personal and from other parties. Failure to immunize can adversely affect a child's life and health, which indirectly will also have an impact on the people around him. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors related to the immunization status of baduta in Wonokusumo Subdistrict, Semampir District, Surabaya. This research was an observational research, used cross sectional research design. The research was conducted on baduta in RW XVI Wonokusumo Subdistrict, Semampir District, Surabaya. The subject of the study was baduta with a sample of 59 people and taken a total population. The data obtained in the form of secondary data from pkl activities of expert students of S1 type of Public Health, Faculty of Public Health, Airlangga University. The event was held on December 27, 2019-January 31, 2020. The variables studied include maternal age, maternal education, maternal employment status, maternal parity, information source, and immunization status. The data analysis used in this study is spearman correlation. The results of this study showed that the majority of baduta in RW XVI Wonokusumo Subdistrict, Semampir Sub-District, Surabaya are still affected by immunizations that are not in accordance with their age. The results also showed that there is a very weak relationship between maternal age (r=-0.031), maternal education (r=0.158), maternal employment status (r=-0.133), maternal parity (r=-0.119), information source (r=0.170) with immunization status in baduta. The conclusion of this study is that all factors studied have a very weak relationship to the immunization status in baduta. Based on this research, the advice that can be given is the addition of posyandu cadres so that the implementation of immunization runs better.
