Abstract
Kemajuan sistem dan lembaga keuangan di suatu negara akan memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Namun demikian bedasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan sebelumnya antara pembangunan sektor keuangan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi masih menjadi perdebatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh financial development terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Negara Emerging Markets pada tahun 2000- 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Generalized Method Of Moment (GMM). Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel (cross section dan time series) di Negara Emerging Market pada periode 2000-2019. Dari hasil pengujian data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perdagangan pasar saham, populasi penduduk usia produktif dan ekspor berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Untuk variabel rasio uang beredar berpengaruh negatif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Sedangkan rasio kredit bank dan inflasi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Negara Emerging Market pada tahun 2000-2019.
