Abstract

The history of extreme violence groups in Indonesia has existed since the beginning of Indonesia's independence in 1945. Deradicalization efforts are intensively carried out by many sectors ranging from government, and other relevant parties. But not a few deradicalization efforts made have not yet resolved it, because in seeing the phenomenon of terrorism only based on one side view. While the other side is neither fully known nor understood. Emerging organizations containing former terrorist inmates who also fight for deradicalization efforts, one of which is the Yayasan Jalin Perdamaian. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, researchers sought to explore the persuasion communication efforts of the Yayasan Jalin Perdamaian in deradicalization and deconstruction of extreme violence. The theory used is deconstruction popularized by Derrida. The results showed the persuasion communication efforts of Yayasan Jalin Perdamian in deradicalization through stages. First formulation of persuasion communication efforts in order to run in accordance with the goals that have been set. Both approaches, approaches taken in the field are relationship traits approaches and psychosocial approaches based on emotional closeness because they have been in the same case. Third credibility, at least the communicator is a person who is respected for his character and knowledge. The four forms of messages that can be received result from identification. All five expected attitude changes. And in the findings there are 3 main factors a person can enter in the first extreme violence are personal factors, driving factors and towing factors
