Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of using probiotics lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactococcus lactis, and Bifidobacterium sp) in growth performance and business analysis of broiler ducks. This study used 48 peking ducks. The concentration of probiotic Lactic Acid Bacteria was 1.2 x 108 CFU/ml. In this study there were four different treatments, namely P0 (without LAB probiotics), P1 (given 1ml LAB probiotics/liter drinking water), P2 (given 2 ml LAB probiotics/liter drinking water) and P3 (given 3ml LAB probiotics). / liter of drinking water). The results showed that feed consumption was no significant difference (p>0.05) between all treatments. Meanwhile, in weight gain, FCR and carcass percentage value of each treatmen were significantly differences (p<0.05). The business analysis shows that the P1 treatment provides the highest profit among the others. It can be concluded that the addition of probiotics 1 ml/liter of drinking water can be used to improve growth performance and can also provide benefits to farmers.
