Abstract
Latar belakang: Kehilangan gigi apabila dibiarkan terlalu lama tanpa adanya penggantian gigi yaitu dapat mengganggu keseimbangan dalam sistem stomatognatik dan mengakibatkan migrasi dan rotasi gigi, serta terjadinya supra posisi. Kondisi supraposisi pada gigi posterior terkadang menyulitkan teknisi dalam melakukan penyusunan gigi yang senormal mungkin karena gigi antagonis melebihi bidang oklusi normal yang menyebabkan adanya penyempitan pada ruang interoklusal. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi, menggunakan gigi tiruan berbahan basis nylon thermoplastic dengan berbagai kelebihannya mampu mengatasi berbagai masalah yang terjadi akibat kehilangan gigi. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui dan memahami bagaimana pembuatan gigi tiruan sebagian lepasan pada kasus supra posisi posterior dengan bahan nylon thermoplastic. Kasus: Terdapat kasus supra posisi pada gigi 16 dan 17 akan dibuatkan GTSL nylon thermoplastic. Kesimpulan: Pembuatan gigi tiruan sebagian lepasan pada kasus supraposisi posterior dengan bahan nylon thermoplastic yang terpenting yaitu pada tahap pembuatan desain dan penyusunan gigi.
