Abstract
Background : Loss of teeth if not treated properly will interrupting facial aesthetics, mastications, and phonetics. Anterior crossbite is a malocclusion where the mandibular position is more forward than the maxillary. Removable partial denture is an alternative treatment for anterior crossbite cases with lost a lot of teeth. Purpose : To know the procedure for the manufacture of acrylic resin removable partial denture with maxillary anterior crossbite. Literature Review : Removable partial denture is a prothesis to restore some of the lost natural teeth. Acrylic resin is a common material for denture base because of good aesthetics, economical prize, biocompatible, and easy fabrication. Case : A pair of working models were accepted with loosing teeth on teeth 11, 12, 21, 22 which is belong to the Kennedy class IV classification with maxillary anterior crossbite condition. Conclusion : The teeth arrangement for anterior crossbite is arranged as normal as possible according to the patient’s dental arch, placed at the top of the ridge with edge to edge relationships to reach good aesthetics.
