Abstract

Background: In the manufacture of flexible partial denture (flexible denture) with a deep bite case, the arrangement of the teeth is almost the same as the arrangement of teeth in the case of missing teeth with normal occlusion. The arrangement of teeth is attempted as normal as possible while still paying attention to aesthetics and masticatory function. Objective: To determine the design and technique of maxillary teeth arrangement in the manufacture of flexible removable partial dentures (flexible dentures) with deep bite cases. Case: Deep bite malocclusion due to toothless maxillary anterior condition causing supraposition of mandibular anterior teeth. The mandibular teeth almost touched the palate and the inter-ridge condition exceeded the normal bite distance. Conclusion: The technique for arranging the maxillary anterior teeth in the deep bite case was adjusted to the remaining mandibular anterior teeth, to reduce the overbite, the maxillary anterior teeth were arranged in a more palatine direction and attempted so that the overjet and overbite were close to normal occlusion. The arrangement of the maxillary posterior teeth is slightly buccal, in harmony with the dental arches, and in contact with the opposing teeth so that they have harmonious occlusion with the mandibular posterior teeth. The plate design is adapted to the condition of the remaining teeth and to their retention.
