Abstract

The aim of this research was studied the effect of use Crassocephalum crepidiodes leaf meal in feed on body weight, consumption, and feed conversion ratio of broiler. The research used 28 chickens with four groups of treatments, those were 0, 1, 3, and 5% Crassocephalum crepidiodes leaf meal on feed. Each treatment were consists of seven replications. The data of average daily weight gain, feed feed consumption, and feed conversion ratio were taken every week for 3 weeks. Treatment feed was given at 14-35 days. The collected data were analyzed using the analysis of variance (ANOVA) method if a significant difference was found in each treatment, it was continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the use of Crassocephalum crepidiodes leaf meal significantly (P<0.05) on body weight gain and feed consumption. But did not have significant effect on feed conversion ratio (P>0.05). The result showed that P2 (3%) and P3 (5%) decreased body weight gain. Group P1 (1%), P2 (3%), and P3 (5%) decreased feed consumption.
