Abstract
This aim of the research are to determine the effectiveness of clove leaf extract against Ae. aegypti. This study used 1200 Ae. aegypti which were divided into six groups with four replications in each group. The concentration of clove leaf extract were 10%, 20%, 40% and 80%, 1% etanol and 15% DEET lotion was being used as control. The data was analyzed using one way anova and followed by HSD test by SPSS. The result was the 80% concentration of clove leaf extract was the most effective as repellent of Ae. aegypti within 3 minutes.
