Abstract
Virus korona baru (SARS-CoV-2) terus menyebar ke seluruh dunia menyebabkan kematian yang tinggi, tekanan yang luar biasa pada sistem perawatan kesehatan dan gangguan kehidupan seharihari yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya dengan konsekuensi sosial ekonomi yang tidak dapat diprediksi. Penyakit ini biasanya menyerang sistem pernapasan dan beberapa pasien akan mengalami insufisiensi pernapasan hipoksemik refrakter yang membutuhkan ventilasi mekanis. Peran ventilasi non-invasif (NIV), saluran hidung aliran tinggi (HFNC) atau alat tekanan saluran napas positif berkelanjutan (C-PAP) dalam pengobatan penyakit virus corona 2019 (COVID-19) masih belum jelas. Dengan ini kami melaporkan kasus serial pasien positif COVID-19 yang menderita gagal napas hipoksia yang berhasil diobati dengan terapi oksigen kanula hidung aliran tinggi di ruang perawatan intensif bertekanan negatif. Meskipun kriteria khusus untuk penggunaan perangkat saluran hidung aliran tinggi dalam COVID-19 tidak tersedia saat ini, dokter dapat menggunakan modalitas non-invasif ini sebagai metode alternatif dukungan pernapasan pada pasien tertentu yang mengalami gagal napas.
