Abstract
This study analyzes the efeect of the productive zakat in Senyum Juara program (productive zakat in form of education) by LAZ Rumah Zakat Surabaya on improving the quality of education and spiritual value of mustahik through the CIBEST Model as the measuring tool. The respondents of this study amounted to 31 mutahik families. There was an increasing in quadrant I which the welfare category from 21 households to 27 households (20% increase), Quadrant II (material poverty category) decreased from 8 households to 3 households (15,4% decrease), Quadrant III (spiritual poverty category) decreased from 2 households to 1 household (3,2% decrease), there were no families of Quadrant IV (absolute poverty) in both before and after receiving benefits. The results of this study indicate significantly able to improve the quality of families’ education and spiritual value.
