Abstract
Osteoarthritis lutut merupakan penyakit sendi degenaratif dengan prevalensi terbesar. Sendi lutut berperan dalam menopang berat badan sehingga fungsinya akan terganggu. Hal ini mempengaruhi kemampuan fungsional yaitu keseimbangan dan mobilitas berjalan, serta mengurangi kapasitas fisik terutama pada nyeri, kelemahan otot dan mobilitas sendi. Dalam hal ini, perlu adanya tindakan rehabilitasi yaitu tindakan fisioterapi yang mengacu pada masalah kapasitas fisik penderita osteoarthritis lutut. Tindakan tersebut salah satunya ialah latihan penguatan dengan theraband exercise.Tindakan fisioterapi guna menunjang rehabilitasi ini sangat mudah diaplikasikan pada penderita serta alat yang dibutuhkan mudah dibawa kemanapun. Tindakan ini sangat efektif dalam mengatasi masalah kapasitas fisik pada penderita osteoarthritis lutut.
