Abstract
Latar Belakang: Bagian terpenting dalam pemeriksaan USG Gallbladder adalah persiapan subjek. Subjek diinstruksikan untuk puasa makan dan minum selama 6 - 8 jam sebelum pemeriksaan dimulai. Terdapat beberapa efek yang ditimbulkan jika subjek mengkonsumsi makanan sebelum pemeriksaan USG Gallbladder dimulai. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas ekstrak jahe untuk mempersingkat waktu persiapan pemeriksaan USG Gallbladder. Metode: Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tahap pertama, penilaian hasil citra USG Gallbladder menggunakan air putih, tahap kedua, penilaian hasil citra USG Gallbladder menggunakan ekstrak jahe, tahap ketiga, dilakukan penilaian perbedaan kedua hasil USG Gallbladder dengan dua perlakuan karena kedua variabel bebas yang digunakan tidak sama. Hasil: Ekstrak jahe efektif untuk mempersingkat waktu persiapan pemeriksaan USG Gallbladder.
