Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of social support and emotional stability on new student at Universitas Airlangga. Teens who have just entered the lecture environment will experience various changes and adjustments in their new environment. The measuring instrument used to measure is Student Adaptation to College (SACQ), emotional stability, and social support. The method used in this research is quantitative. Distribution of questionnaires with the online form survey method. Participants in this study were 341 participants who were new students entering lectures in 2019. The results obtained showed that the R square value in the regression test for social support and emotional stability was 0.395, which means that the two variables in this study had an effect of 39.5% and 61.5 The other is obtained by factors outside the variables studied.
