Abstract

Go of this research is to improve and transform business processes of Small Medium Ent rprise (SME) in East Java from traditional business to e-business. The specific targ ets to be achieved are identification of the design attributes of online business (e-busi ness) for each business centers and changing traditional business activities into e-busi ness. This research design are combine exploratory qualitative research (FGD) and exp rimental research. FGD research involving with the Department of Industrial in East Java Consumer (both potential customers and actual customers, Entrepreneur (owner SM ), practitioners of e-business and information technology experts. FGDs intended to determine the design of e-business strategies appropriate for each center industry. Experimental research carried out in order to determine the appropriate design with the consumer. Experimental research was conducted with interviews to determine consumer responses to e-business designs that are constructed based on the FGD, so that the design attributes of e-business can be repaired based result of experimental The results of this research is the design of e-business www I east avacraft.biz. Administration website is handled directly by the owner of SME, after they received any assistance from the research team, about the special skills in the mai tenance of the website. Every owner of SME has a special password to enter in the adm nistration of the website. Superadministration held by the research team
