Penentuan Usia Growth Spurt Pubertal Mandibula Perempuan Berdasarkan Cervical Vertebral Maturation Indicators (CVMIs).

Abstract
The pubertal growth spurt depends on gender and varies in relationship to chronological age. General skeletal maturity usually is used as an indicator to predict timing of mandibular growth velocity peak The cervical vertebral maturation method has proved to be effective in assessing the pubertal growth spurt in individual patient. The aim study of mandibular pubertal growth spurt prediction in girls based on Cervical Vertebral Maturation Indicators (CVMIs). The sample were derived from lateral cephalogram of 30 girl subjects registered as orthodontic patients. The age for girls was between 9 years and 14 years, so that they were within the pubertal period Data that obtained from descriptive observasional were tested with Kruskal-Wallis Test and then Mann-Whitney test. There was a significant difference between age group and between two age group. CVMIs of patient coming treatment is in stage 3(CVS 3) and stage 4 (CVS 4), it is a mandibular pubertal growth spurt and the result showed in girls 12 years and 13 years..
