Abstract

Backcround: Soursop is a usefol plant that comes from the Caribbean, Central America and South America. The Soursop leaves contain high amounts of bioactive compounds, such as steroid, flavonoid, kumarin, alkaloid and tanin. The Soursop leaves exhibit as anti-inflammatory, anticarcinogenic, antioxidant, antiviral and antibacterial, purpose: this research is to know the amount of fibroblast cell after applicating soursop leaves extract on Guinea pig tooth extraction wound at 20%, 30%, and 40% concentration on day 3 and day 5. Methods:This research used 48 Guinea pigs which were divided into 8 groups that given CMC- Na 3% and Soursop leaves extract at 20%, 30% and 40% consentrations. The 48 Guinea pigs were executedon 3rd and 5th day of application to observe fibroblast cells. The difference in fibroblast amount was analyzed statistically using Kruskall Wallis test and Turkey HSD test. Result: The test showed there was significant difference in fibroblast cells amount between control group and treatment group on day 3 and day 5. Conclusion: Applkation of Soursop leaves extract with consentralio11$ 20%, )0% and 40% can incre(,l$e the amount of fibroblast cells on Guinea pig tooth extraction wound
