Abstract

Cigarettes are made from the dried leaves of the tobacco plant. No lessthan 4000 i"itating, suffocating, dissolving, inflammable, toxic, poisonous,carcinogenic gases and substances and even radioactive compounds have beenidentifred in tobacco smoke. Nicotin~ tar. and CO are the most dangerous. Tar isthe main cause of several types of cancer. cois a poisonous gas that reduces theamount of oxygen taken up by a person's red blood cells. This means less oxygengoes to organs of the body and the heart has to work harder. And nicotine is thedrug in tobacco which contributes to addiction to Cigarette smoking. The amountof nicotine in Cigar is higher than in cigarettes. So cigar can cause addiction inhigher presentation than Cigarettes. Nicotine is poisonous and has a number ofeffects on the body .. In ton~ nicotine make the obstruction on taste pore anddestruction sensory of the taste receptor cell, and then it's can inhibits chordatympani responses to sweet stimuli.
