Abstract

This study aims to determine the Impact of Systematic Risk and Corporate Performance on Stock Returns: Evidence on the Islamic Stock Market. The population in this study is all companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2014-2018 period partially and simultaneously. This research uses quantitative data. The analysis technique used panel data regression analysis. The samples used in this study were 17 companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index with a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study based on the Ordinary Least Square model estimation showed that partially the Beta variable has a positive and significant effect, the Return on Equity (ROE) variable has positive and not significant effect, while the Earning Per Share (EPS) variable, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Current Ratio (CR) has negative and not significant effect on the stock returns of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index. While simultaneous variable Beta shares, Earning Per Share (EPS), Return On Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Current Ratio (CR) are not significant to the stock returns of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index 2014- 2018.
