Abstract

This research was intended to explore about protein profile characterization, protein antigene against specific antibody and antibody crossed reaction of Pasteurella multocida isolate came from Pusvetma and Maros. The extraction of both Pasteurella multocida were carried out by sonicator and addition with tween 20. The result were the protein contents of Pasteurella multocida were 2660 µg/ml for Pusvetma and 2280 µg/ml for Maros. The characterization of protein profile was carried out by 12 % SIDS-PAGE methode and were obtained 13 protein ribbons for Pusvetma isolate and 12 protein ribbons for Maros isolate. Both of them had molecule weight (MV) between 21 — 166 kDa. The antigenicity protein test was carried out by dot blot methode and both of them were positive against Pasteurella multocida and by western blot methode, both of Pasteurella multocida showed an affinity on protein and having 31.51 kDa of M.W Based on the research, the Pasteurella multocida isolate even from Pusvetma and Maros can be judgment for diagnostic agent and subunit vaccine in the future.
