Abstract

There is general agreement that patient personal characteristics are important in explaining and predicting dental patient behaviors, but there is less agreement about which patient personal characteristics are the most important. The objectives of the study are to define the most important patient personal characteristics in explaining ahd predicting dental patient behaviors and to develop a more integrative model of dental patient behavior in the puskesmas (community health centre). The subjects of the study were 404 adult new patients of the puskesmas in South Jakarta District. In this field study, research method was cross-sectional.
