Abstract
The incidence of diabetes mellitus and obesity obviously increased every year, and more frequently in females than males (Sumual et al 1985, Sidarti et al 1986 and Litostonius 1981) Obesity. appears to be the most dominant nongenetic factor in NIDDM, and widely suggested as an inducing factor of hyper insulinemia and insulin resistance (Beck- Nielsen, 1988).
