Peran Sodium Fluorida (NaF) Dalam Proses Penyembuhan Luka Pada Tulang Mandibula Tikus SpraqueDawley: Penelitian EksperimentaI Laboratoris.
Thesis thesis, UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA.
Abstract
There have been several reports on sodium fluoride utilization. It has been reported that sodium fluoride plays an important role in bone maturation by increasing osteoblast and bone matrices formation. The aim of this investigation was to find out the effect various doses of sodium fluoride treatment on mandibular bone healing process. The method used in thes research was an experimental laboratory. Complete randomized designed consisted of four groups with 6 samples group were treated with a single dose of sodium fluoride. Dependent variable (as a single factor) used was a sodium fluoride with various doses, and its dependent variable was the mandibular response. Radiographical information which showed radioluscent area on mandibula was observed as the parameter. The result of this research concluded that the optimal rat mandibular bone healing process was achieved by giving a low dose of sodium fluoride (1.2 mg/day) in 4 weeks. More over its adverse effect was minimal.
