Biokompatibilitas Hidrogen Peroksida Dengan Hidrogen Peroksida Hangat Pada Konsentrasi Tertentu Penelitian Eksperimental Laboratoris.
Thesis thesis, UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA.
Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the biocompatibility of a certain concentration of hydrogen peroxide and warm hydrogen peroxide. The biocompatible test was done by using cell-culture technique, counting the percentage of living cell after making contact to each solution for about 120 second. The study initiated to have 0,25% - 1% concentration of hydrogen peroxide which were got by adding sterile aquadest to hydrogen peroxide 3%. The sample of this study consisted of 70 bottles of cell lines BHK-21 that divided into 8 treatment groups and 2 control groups (without treatment) with replication 7. The method of the study was experimental laboratory. The research design was post test only control group, in order to find out the infiuence of the independent variable (hydrogen peroxide and warm hydrogen peroxide with 0,25% - 1% concentration) to dependent variable (biocompatibility). The data, resulted from the percentage of living cell was analyzed by the die exclusion test method. The hypothesis is examined by using the one-way variance analysis test and independent-t test with a level of significant of a. = 0,05. The result of one-way variance analysis test showed that there was a significant differences of biocompatibility (p = 0,000) after the application of hydrogen peroxide and warm hydrogen peroxide on the c91lcentration of 0,25% - 1%. The result of the independent-t test showed that there was biocompatibility significant differences (p=0,000) between hydrogen peroxide and warm hydrogen peroxide applied by concentration of 0,25%; 0,50%; 0,75% and 1% for 120 second. The research concluded that hydrogen peroxide 0,25% was more biocompatible than warm hydrogen peroxide 0,25%.
