Abstract

Caffeine is the most widely consumed behavioral in the world. Its pharmacological effects are predominantly due to' adenosine receptor antagonism, including release of catecholamines. Caffeine tends to follow the rule, that is the direct release of intracellular calcium via an action on ryanodine receptors and inhibit cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase. Caffeine exposure impairs blood glucose level due to reduction of glucose up take. The effects of caffeine exposure impairing blood glucose level are still unclear yet and still debated up to now. This study aims to examine the effect of oral caffeine to increases of blood glucose level.
