Uji Toksisitas Fresh Frozen Tendongraft dan Freeze Dried Tendongaft terhadap Mesenchymal Stem Cell.
Thesis thesis, UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA.
Abstract
Background: Surgical tendon repair is limited by the availability of viable tissue for
transplantation so ,the need for tissue engineered tendon material exists. One approach to tendon engineering utilizes a stem cell-scaffold construct (tendon graft) and then is grafted onto the defect, but the cytotoxic effect of the tendongraft is still unknown . The purpose of this study is to determine the cytotoxic effect of fresh frozen tendongraft and freeze dried tendongraft to the mesenchymal stem cell.
Method: This laboratory experimental study using the post test only control group design, done in Institute of Tropical Disease Airlangga University . The viability test using MTT Assay ( Elisa). The data analyzed by Anova and post hoc significancy test.
Result: The viability of mesenchymal stem cell on fresh frozen tendongraft was 98,84% and
the viability of mesenchymal stem cell on frezee dried tendongraft was 98,86%. From
post hoc significancy test show that those two group compare with control was >0,05 , it
means there were no significancy between group and control.
Conclusion: There were no toxicity effect of fresh frozen tendongraft and frezee dried tendon
graft to the mesenchymal stem cell .
