Abstract
It is easier for student to understand practice guidance in infographic than read writing without picture. Infographic method has greater effects in level of understanding, but today, the pratice guidance or standardoperating procedure
(SOP) used in school of nursery still limited in writing only. The purpose of this research is to analize the effectivity of practice guidance in infographic method to
increase the pshychomotor ability for student school of nursery Airlangga University.
Design which is used in this research was quasy experimental pre post test design. The sampling technicque used was purposive sampling, that associated with inclusion criteria. The research were involved 109 students with the sample
contains 14 students with practice guidance infographic and writing method as independent variable. Meanwhile, increasing of psychomotor ability as a dependent variable results of this research are effectiveness of practice guidance in infographic method in infusion practice is significant with p = 0,031 in catherization practice is also significant with p = 0,021. Meanwhile in handwash
practice is less significant with p = 0,830
The conclusion above is that the pratice guidance with infographic method is more efective to increase student psychomotor ability in handwash, infusion and catherization practice because it includes step-by-step pictures which can
make the students easier to understand the content of practice guidance. Other researches about efektivity of practice guidance in audio visual method to increase
psychomotor ability for students Faculty of Nursing.
