Fiksasi Lokasi Pemasangan Infus Terhadap PHLEBITIS Di Rumah Sakit Umum Haji Surabaya.

Abstract
Phlebitis is an inflammation of the vein wall. Phlebitis caused by mechanical, chemical and bacterial characterized by pain, redness, swelling, vein feels hard and pyrexia. In Haji hospital Surabaya, using two types of fixation location that infusion of conventional plaster bandage and transparent dressing. The porpuse of this study was to distinguish two types of fixation to the infusion site phlebitis at the time of fixation 24 hours I, II, III. Design used in this study is comparative. The population were all the patients treated at room Marwah IV Haji hospital Surabaya included on inclusion criteria. The total samples were 26 respondents, 13 respondents for fixation of a conventional plaster and 13 respondents for fixation of a transparent dressing. Independent variable in this study was type of infusion fixation location on the time 24 hours I, II, III and the dependent variable was the incidence of phlebitis. Data were collected using observation sheet then analyzed using chi square with a significant value p≤0.05. The result showed that there were not difference between fixation with plester convensional bandage and transparent dressing p=1,000 to incidence of phlebitis fixation location on time 24 hours I, II, III. Based on this research can be concluded that using of infussion fixation with convensional plaster and transparent dressing there was not significant difference.
