Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of the administration of glucose solution and glucose-NaCI solution during running on blood glucose level after long distance running.
Samples used in this study were 40 individuals taken randomly and divided into"2 groups (20 individuals for each group). They were given 15 gram glucose solution in 250 cc water, 15 gram glucose solution~ and 15 gram NaCI in 250 cc water, in the fifth kilometer. This studi used the randomized pre-test post-test control group design.
Data collected was prossed using descriptive statistics~ distribution normality test, variant
homogeneity test, paired t test, Anova test~ and followed by Non parametrik test with the level of significance of 501

Result obtained from paired t test showed that pretest blood glucose level in group 1 (Pre 1) was highly significantly different (p=O~OOOO) from that of blood glucose level after long distance running of 10 km in group 1 (Post 1), and pretest blood glucose level in group 2 (Pre 2) was highly significantly different (p=0,0000) from that of blood glucose level after running for 10 km in group 2 (Post 2).
Furthermore, results of independent t test indicated that there was a significant difference (p=0,023) between blood glucose level after running for 10 km (post test) in group 1 and that of group 2. It can concluded that there is a difference in the influence of glucose solution a.nd glucose-test solution administration of glucose-NaCl solution administration during running on blood glucose level after long distance running (10 km) is in creased more by the administration than glucose solution administration
