Abstract

Discipline the behavior of the elderly come to the Posyandu is a responsibility, because Posyandu is an integrated service for the elderly where the health became so good. Puskesmas is done through the Posyandu elderly. This study aims to explain the influence of families on the benefits of innovation diffusion of Posyandu to discipline the behavior of the elderly in the West Ketapang Village district of Ketapang Sampang area. The design of this study using Quasy Experimental design (Post Test Only Control Group Design). This study population is the entire family in which there are elderly people residing in the village of West Ketapang amounted to 444 seniors with a sample of 20 elderly experimental group with Non Probability Sampling technique with the purposive sampling. This study used a questionnaire instrument. lndepedent variables: family about the benefits of innovation diffusion, while the dependent variable Posyandu is a knowledge, attitude and psychomotor. Based on research in get a change in knowledge, attitudes and psychomotor Posyandu elderly in the West Ketapang Village district of Ketapang Sampang area. Health workers were expected to make the diffusion of innovation as a family of standard operating procedures can be applied to overcome the failure of achieving the target Posyandu elderly so as to improve the achievement of the arrival of the elderly in the Posyandu.
