Abstract

Women who are not attended by health care profesional ad delivery are more at risk of postpartum complications. Aimed of this study was determine the utilisation of health care professional assisted delivery based on Anderson’s Health System Model approach at Ba’a health care center (Puskesmas) Rote. This was a descriptive analytic cross-sectional research study. A sample were 20 respondents selected using the criteria of inclusion. The independen variables were demographics, culture, belief in health care, family resources and perceived need. The dependent variable was assisted childbirth. Data were collected using questionnaire and analysed by chi-square and Spearman’s Rho statistical method with α <0,05. The resulth show that corelation between variable of age culture, belief in health care, family resources and perceived need with childbirth assistant have p value lower than 0,05. While for corelation between number of children with childbirth show p=0,705. It can be concluded mother with ideal age, good culture, higher health belief, good family resources, higher perceived need, increase the utilisation of health care profesional assisted delivery while number of children show no significant changes.
