Response time is one indicator of the quality of pre-hospital services with the principle of “time saving is life saving”. The international standard ambulance response time is less than 8 minutes. The results presented in several countries of the world international standard response time can not function optimally. Transport life support in 2012 obtained approximately 144 calls every month, including an average of 7 emergency call response time for a total of 20.7 minutes consisted of decision time is less than 5 minutes and the median time on road 16 minutes including 10 patients with dry run, 6 patients died before the transfer. The study was aim to analyze the factors related to ambulance response time when transport life support in AGD 118 RSUD Dr.Soetomo Surabaya. This study used cross sectional design. The result showed that independent had significant correlation in dispatch communication (p=0,045), in prepare unit (p=0,022), with geographi (p=0,04). It can be concluded it can be find how to solve and get a short response time in pre hospital care. Further studies should analyze factors related to motivation of paramedic to get high performa for the best serviuce and better measurement tools to obstain accurate results.
