Abstract

The pattern of take care from the parent to the preschool is very important to be risk become BGM especially from their mother to decide the nutrient and development of children. The pattern of take cares are consist of giving meat to children in the family; the pattern of healthy care; the interaction between housemaid and children; and the role of father. This study was aimed to analyze the pattern of the parent to preschool children within nutrient status BGM in Public health center Bungah Kab. Gresik The design that used in this study was cross sectional design from preschool who get BGM in Public health center Bungah Kab. Gresik. In this study used purposive sampling taken according inclusion criteria. Total sample was 14 respondents. The independent variables were mother of children who get BGM, mothers had good communication, mother ready to be respondent, and citizenship in the Bungah. Data were collected by food recall questionnaire, questionnaire, and structured interview and then analyzed using Spearman Rho (r) with level of significance of ≤ 0,05. The result showed that the correlation between cares pattern and the habit of parent by giving meal (take kalori ) was not significant (p= 0,536, r= -0.181). In other hand the pattern of healthy care had correlation with their cares pattern (p=0,000, r= -1,000). Interaction between housemaid and children had correlation with their cares pattern (p=0,014, r= -0,638). Education of father had correlation with their cares pattern (p=0,000, r= -0,779). The income had correlation with their cares pattern. In addition, a number of family had correlation with cares pattern. It can be concluded that the cares pattern had no correlation with giving meal. But it has correlation with healthy care, the interaction with preschool, education of father, income, and number of family. Further studies should larger respondent and better healthy services from parent to their children who get BGM in Public health center Bungah, Gresik.
