Abstract

Introduction. This study, entitled " Effect of nurse caring to satisfaction factor families of pediatric patients in the pediatric hospital premiere Surabaya, based on the theory of the Expectancy - disconfirmation ( Woodruff and Gradial , 2002). Study aimed to determine the effect of nursing care, the standard of comparison and perceived disconfirmation to the satisfaction of the patient's family. Methods. Methods of this research is descriptive and statistical analysis using purposive sample. Data patients were collected through questionnaires. Results . Results of this study say that there is influence has a positive relationship between the variables . caring nurse significance value is 0.048 , the significance value is less than 0.05 then the probability that HI is accepted or no effect between the perceived disconfirmation caring. comparison significance value is 0.048 , then the probability that Hl is accepted or no comparison with the perceived influence of disconfirmation. Nurse caring significance value is 0.004 , then the probability that Hl is accepted or no effect between caring with satisfaction. perceived disconfirmation significance value is 0.037 , the significance value is less than 0.05 then the probability that HI is accepted or no influence between perceived disconfirmation to satisfaction conclusion. Significant influence either partial or general , will greatly affect the satisfaction of clients . Caring provided must always hold to a 5C , namely Comparison, Competency, confidence, Conscience and Commitment to gain satisfaction care good care of mother patients. nurses Caring to patients will always be applied at home pain as a form of nursing services, so as to improve the quality of health care that will result in improved patient and family satisfaction. The next study then be assessed on satisfaction outcomes of patient satisfaction
