Abstract

Elderly development needed health services which includes the preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative at Posyandu elderly. This theory helps nurses to understand the determinants of individual health behavior that be the basic of behavioral intervention to promote healthy lifestyle. This research using design analytic approach, with cross sectional and sampels elderly totaled 74. Independent variable were age, sex, education, motivation, perception of self progress and commitment. The dependent variable was elderly visits to Posyandu Mutiara. This study used simple random sampling and data was analyzed using spearman rho with level of significance 0,05. The result showed that p=0,013 on age there was a correlation between age and elderly visits, p=0,021 on sex there was a correlation between sex and elderly visits, 0,07 on education there was a correlation between education and elderly visits, 0,019 on motivation there was a correlation between motivation and elderly visits, p=0,023 on perceived benefits, perceived barrier of actions there was a correlation between perceived benefits, perceived barrier and elderly visits, 0,454 on perceived self efficacy and 0,804 on commitment there was no correlation between perceived self efficacy and commitment with elderly visits. At the age of majority of 60-65 years old routinely visit the Posyandu, the gender of the majority of elderly women doing routine visits than elderly men. The level of education in elementary schools are more is in the region. Motivation, perceived benefits and perceived barrier has a value of positive actions in conducting visits to the Posyandu. Perceived self efficacy and commitment it has value and positive but no relation with the elderly to Posyandu.
