Abstract

This study use Pra-Experimental design. Population had taken from primary school students at 4th and 5th grade of SDN Jambangan of Kecamatan Kawedanan of Kabupaten Magetan. Sample comprised 52 individuals who met the inclusion criteria. They were combined into intervention group. The independent variable in this study was training of basic health of school health unit (UKS). The dependent variables in this study were knowledge, attitude and behavior. Data were collected by using observation and quesioner. They were analyzed by using Wilcoxon signed ranks test, with significance level (p)  0,05. Result showed that the poor of health status of primary school student was caused by three dominant factors. Revealed the presence of effect in the intervention group. In this group, knowledge of primary school students of 4 and 5 grade had significance level of (p) =0,000, attitude had significance level of (p) = 0,000, and behavior had significance level of (p) = 0,000. It can be concluded that there are significant effect of training of basic health of school health unit (UKS) on knowledge, attitude and behavior on student health behavior. So basic health of school health unit (UKS) was important for primary school students
